Music Video 1 - Stress by Justice
This music video is seen from the perspective of rebellious youth. It clearly states that these young people are struggling to be heard and therefore feel their best option is to cause disruptions and violence to the society.
It challenges the dominant ideology because it shows that the Police Force are not always in control and can be overpowered when gangs like this break through. The problems in society can not always be watched over by the Police. Although it may not seem it, the youth are acting in this way to perhaps be noticed and have a say on certain situations e.g. unemployment and university fees. However, they feel like their opinions will be accepted if they do something drastic to a society. This music video can not be classed as 'narrative' because it has been done in a documentary style, therefore it can be known as a 'performance'.

Music Video 2 - A Team by Ed Sheeran
There are a few dominant ideologies within this video. Vulnerably housed people are often perceived as being negative and dangerous towards a society because of people's judgmental views on these individuals' welfare and appearance. A society is drawn to believe that these people are either alcoholics or drug abusers. This is identical to how the 'A Team' presents the main young girl. The public in this video are represented as being very negative towards these unfortuante people probably as they feel uncomfortable and consequently they completely ignore her and avoid any eye contact. This builds a sense of selfishness.
Music Video 3 - Featherstone by The Paper Kites
There are not specific ideologies which have been created within the music video 'Featherstone'. The audience are drawn into seeing a small group of young children playing together in the location of a forest. Typically they are acting immaturely, as do most children of their age. This is due to their 'animal like' costumes. The children in this video are portrayed positively due to the effective of mise - en - scene applied.
